My name is Justin, I'm a UX Designer currently completing my 4A term of Global Business Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo. I specialize in user centered design and visual craft.
Why the penguin?
The penguin emboddies my values as a person and a designer. Someone who works well in teams, and is friendly and sociable.
What I do outside of design?
Outside of design, you can find me playing basketball or staying at home, either playing video games or reading a book.
My personality
People would describe me as a bit silly, but also a very reflective person. I'm somewhere in between those lines.
I believe the best solutions come when working together in a team. I believe that good communication and collaboration will help me thrive in the work that I do.
Impactful work
Whether its for the client, business or for the team, I love seeing the impact with my work, it brings me a lot of meaning and joy to keep me motivated.
I make sure that in any solution I create, it properly follows visual design principals. I'm constantly reflecting and analyzing for good hierarchy, spacing and white space.
I value growth of my own skills as a designer and growth as a person. I'm always learning and eager to try something new.
Aside from a lot of UX work, I really enjoy creating visually appealing posters, landing pages or 3D renders
